
Dr. Santhosh Kotni has received Ph.D in Chemistry (2013) from University of Hyderabad, India and subsequently moved to Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel for a post-doctoral position in Prof. Gilad Haran group (2013-2015). His research interests are catalysis, ionic liquids, semiconductor nanomaterials, single molecule spectroscopy and nanoplasmonics. To his credit, he has published research articles in international journals including Nature Communications. For almost last 8 years, he has been associated with Hindustan Petroleum Green R&D Center, Bengaluru. At R&D, he has been working on catalysts development for refinery processes along with research focus on exploring alternative energy fuels such as biomass upgradation and direct conversion of CO2 to chemicals.
